What do I already know about the Holocaust?

Well, from my previous studies of the Holocaust, I already know that this movement was mainly against JEWS and that people were killed in concentration and death camps. I also know that Hitler had controlled most of Europe, where the Holocaust had taken place in. So this is some basic knowledge that everyone knows about. And reading Anne's diary and all the memories that have been left aobut it, I can see what the Jews went through. I heard that some families wernt into hiding or some were sent to concentration/death camps and were put to labor or death. Just looking at all this, I try to put myself into that position, but I don't know how i woud have survived. This event was truly SAD.
