What is prejudice? Where have we seen it and what are the effects?

Prejudice is an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason. Prejudice is basically discrimination against people because of their religion, ethnicity, etc. Well, where have we seen prejudice? Prejudice is seen in schools, countries, and throughout the world. For example, prejudice is commonly found in schools nationwide. People can have first impressions of you without even getting to know you. In otherwards, it's like judging a book by its cover. Also, prejudice can be found in countries. For example, in the United States, during Martin Luther's time, there was discrimnation against the blacks from the whites. So, as you can see, prejudice is found nationwide and is still occuring throughtout this world. The effects of prejudice..... well, all of this discrimination has sometimes led into wars or a big commotion between countries, groups, etc and it has also effected the history of this world. For example, prejudice can cause a country to have a war and then this war gets written down in the world "timeline." As you can see, the world is filled with prejudice and it is still occuring.
